About emailPlease note that email is not secure. Your email may be viewed by others and could be altered. For this reason we would advise that you do not send security or other confidential information this way. Frith’s Cottage cannot accept liability for the consequences of your messages being intercepted by any third party. |
Please note that communications to and from St Helena are less reliable than in most developed countries, due to telephone, Internet and power outages. If you can’t reach us by telephone please try again later. If your email goes unanswered please re-send it.
Before you email us, please be aware that:
We are comfortable with the sizes of our body parts and don’t need help enlarging or shrinking them
Any medicines or drugs we really want can be supplied locally and on prescription at a very reasonable price
We have no wish to help the relatives of deceased despots to spirit their ill gotten gains out of the country they have ruined
We do not wish to make commission or other payments to obtain information about long-lost relatives (we’ve managed without them so far . . .)
It is our firm conviction that ‘unbelievable’ offers are just that, and we treat them accordingly
If you want to send us money for no apparent reason, please feel free to do so. Don’t ask for our account numbers and passwords - just send whatever it is to the Bank of St Helena and ask them to credit it to us. But don’t expect us to pass it on to anyone you specify, however plausible the story. We’ll either enjoy it ourselves or pass it on to a reputable charity.
Footnotes:
{1} Or St Helena Island, or St. Helena, it doesn’t seem to matter which.
